To these must be added, from amongst the non-monastics: Mahendranath Gupta ('M''), the compiler of the Gospel of Sri Ramkrishna (Sri Sri Ramakrishna Kathamrita, in Bengali) which records, with stenographic detail, conversations of Sri Ramakrishna from 1882-1886. The full English translation by Swami Nikhilananda was published in 1942.
